Potholes adorn newly repaired NH-415
ITANAGAR, Apr 27: The recently repaired NH-415 has developed potholes at several stretches across Itanagar, Naharlagun and Nirjuli. After much delay, the repairing cum re-carpeting work got completed only in March this year.
In fact one of the main reasons for unpopularity of previous Congress government was attributed to its failure to regularly maintain NH 415.
When the repairing work ended, there was much hope that finally capital complex will have better road. However, the recent rainfall has caused further damage leading to popping up of potholes.
Interestingly, when the repairing work was going on, Chief Minister Kalikho Pul during a visit had expressed satisfaction with the quality of work. But much to dismay of capital dwellers, the newly renovated road has deteriorated faster than expected.
There is fear that if proper action plan is not made, the capital road may not be able to withstand the monsoon fury.
Deadline missed ?
The approach road to Abotani Colony Bridge, Itanagar, is in pathetic condition. In the last few days constant traffic jam has been witnessed near the bridge. While some vehicles got stuck in the muddy road, others simply broke down because of bad road. PWD has constructed quite a decent bridge but worryingly they seem to have forgotten to repair the approach road. Chief Minister Kalikho Pul during his visit to the bridge had also expressed concern over poor condition of approach road. As per the deadline set by CM, the bridge is supposed to be inaugurated on April 28th. But the big question is whether inaugurating the bridge makes sense without repairing the approach road.
Young Arunachalee woman found dead in Maharastra

ITANAGAR, Apr 27: A 22 year old Arunachalee woman, Marnya Doye was found dead in her apartment on Tuesday afternoon in Raigad, Maharastra.
Doye, from Seren village in East Siang was working in Sai City agency as a clerical staff.
Her body was sent for postmortem to JJ Hospital in Mumbai. The details leading to her death is scanty but there is apprehension that there might have been a foul play. Her body was found hanging.
Robin Hibu, IGP, who is also the in charge of Northeast, Delhi Police spoke to the SHO of the area as well as SP Raigad to ensure that proper investigation is carried out. He requested for a board of doctors to carry out the postmortem as well as analysis of phone details of the young woman.
Sources said that Doye, who had a diploma in hospitality management had planned to move to Delhi from her current place of work.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Kalikho Pul got in touch with the Maharashtra government and urged for a thorough investigation into the incident.
The CM spoke to the relatives of the victim and has assured to help in bringing back the mortal remains to the state.
Grieving the loss, the CM expressed shock that dreams and hopes of a young life has been cut short by the tragic death.
Arunachal Pradesh Women's Welfare Society has demanded a magisterial enquiry to unearth the details.
APWWS President Gumri Ringu has called upon Mitali Tingkhatra , Chairperson of APSCW to get in touch with her counterpart to press for magisterial enquiry as there appears to have been foul play leading to the death of the young woman.
Meanwhile, a team of Galo Students' Union (Apex) led by its president, Binya Ronya called on Deputy Chief Minister, Kameng Dolo on Wednesday and submitted a memorandum seeking GoAP's help in bringing back the mortal remains as well as proper investigation.
Wild dogs rescued
ITANAGAR, Apr 27: Two wild dog (Cuon alpinus) puppies listed under scheduled - II of Wildlife Protection Act, 1972 were rescued from Tago area of Yachuli Sub-Division under Lower Subansiri district.
The rescuers Riya Mindu, Riya Tachang and Riya Tabam of Nyolo village of Koloriang have handed over the puppies to curator and veterinary officer, Itanagar Zoo for further rehabilitation, informed Curator of Itanagar Biological Park Raya Flago.
Lobsang Gyatso arrested in Tawang
ITANAGAR, Apr 27: Lama Lobsang Gyatso, one of the most vocal opponents of Hydro power projects in Tawang region was briefly arrested on Tuesday for allegedly leading a group of people from Gongkhar village where the Mukto Shakangchu 6 MW project is coming up. SMRF is opposed to reconstruction of spillway of the small project as they say that work quality has been compromised.
He was arrested based on FIR filed by the Personel security officer of local MLA Pema Khandu for disruption of peace.
Lama Lobsang, the general secretary Save Mon Region Federation, a group consisting of monks opposed to construction of upto 7000 MW hydro power in Tawang was granted bail in the evening.
Speaking to this daily, Lama Lobsang said that he was called to the Police station based on the FIR but was arrested, only to be released on bail soon after. The villagers had apparently gone to meet the local MLA to apprise him on renovation of Gongkhar power house, which they allege have stopped functioning because of faulty construction. The department could not be contacted for comments.
Rain wrecks havoc in Miao

MIAO, Apr 27: Bordumsa and Miao administrative sub-divisions are badly affected due to uninterrupted downpour in the last several weeks, accompanied by hailstones.
Pisi, Khamuk, Lewang, Phup, Khagam Singpho and Khagam Mossang villages on the right bank of Noa-Dehing River have been the worst sufferers with severe case of erosion and submergence owing to floods.
However, the departments concerned are yet to visit the affected villages to take stock of the loss of properties.
Upper Miao too faced heavy erosion and the Namdapha eco cultural festival ground has been submerged under water.
Improve skills and efficiency: Lowang
International labour Day celebration
ITANAGAR, Apr 27: Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker Wangki Lowang on Wednesday formally inaugurated the food stalls, sports, cultural and literary programmes organized as part of International labour Day celebration slated for May 1 at Nirjuli.
Later, addressing the gathering, the Speaker called upon workers to develop work culture and contribute to the development of the State and the nation.
Saying that learning is continuous process, he advised the workers to learn to improve their skills and efficiency.
ADM cum Chief Estate Officer (Capital Complex) Talo Potom said that unions and organizations should not indulge in any political activities; rather they should cooperate with the development initiative of the government. Expressing concern over lack of work culture, he exhorted the workers of the state to work with sincerity, devotion and dedication. AdiSU alleges use of live tree for power supply
ITANAGAR, Apr 27: The Adi Students Union (AdiSU) has alleged that Namsai power department is using live tree instead of electric pole to supply electricity in the area. The union claimed that electricity supply to 300 households in 4 villages namely New Jengthu, Donekona, Mengkeng I and Mengkeng II under Namsai district is done using live tree.
"The department is regularly collecting bill from the respective consumers. The electric connection was officially provided to the villagers by the department. But when we lodged complaint, the assistant engineer AE feinted ignorance about use of live tree," stated AdiSU.
Further union alleged that power department has violated the basic safety norms of Electricity Safety Regulations. They also added that crores of money is being spent for electricity schemes but still scenario in rural areas of Namsai district has not improved.
WASE team apprehends man with explosives

PASIGHAT, Apr 27: In yet another major breakthrough, the members of Women Against Social Evil (WASE) apprehended a man with explosives, Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) and large quantity of diesel from a shop near Dangariah Baba Mandir in Pasighat on Tuesday.
Besides the suspected explosives, the WASE team found 39 bottles of IMFL and 630 liters (Approx) fuel illegally stored in the shop and house of one Mongol Tamang.
The raid was conducted following complaints from the residents of GTC area that some of the shops near Dangariah Baba Mandir regularly sell IMFL and 'Roksi' (hooch) to the minors.
Being informed of the incident, the Deputy Commissioner (i/c) and Officer-in-Charge of the Pasighat Police Station rushed a team of police led by a magistrate to the spot. All the items were seized and the shops sealed by the team.
A case has been registered at Pasighat Police Station against Mongol Tamang on receipt of an FIR from the WASE team.
"It is shocking that shopkeeper procured so much of explosive, IMFL and fuels (diesel),"said WASE general secretary Joya Tasung Moyong.
She urged the state government to look into the matter seriously and launch investigation.
East Siang sets sight on oil palm industry

RUKSIN, Nov 27: Considering the rich potential of oil palm cultivation in the foothills of Arunachal Pradesh and consequent economic gains involved, the state Agriculture Department has implemented oil palm plantation in East Siang and West Siang districts.
The Agriculture (nodal) Department has selected four zones including nine potential districts for oil palm cultivation in the state and thereby identified 1.26 lakh (aprrox) hectares area. It targets 25 lakh hectares plantation within a period of five years in East Siang district, which falls in Zone-III potential area.
Oil palm plantation was launched at Leku farming site under Ruksin circle on Wednesday in presence of agriculture officials and executives of Ruchi Soya Industries Ltd (RSIL), signed on by the state government for promotion of cultivation and industrialization of the oil palm in the district.
District Agriculture Officer Y J Lego said that India imports huge quantity of edible oil from other countries and it was affecting the country's economy. She emphasized on massive oil palm cultivation to meet the shortfall.
State Nodal Officer for Oil Palm cultivation, TD Neekham informed that the country produces about 9.5 million tones edible oil against 20 million tones oil demand. It has been spending Rs 70 thousand crore per annum for importing edible oil from Malaysia and other countries. Stating that the central government is putting special attention for self reliance in edible oil, he laid stress on oil palm cultivation in potential areas. He also briefed on government subsidy for cultivation activities such as water harvesting, fertilizer management and exposure tour for the growers. Dr Barun Singh of College of Horticulture and Forestry (CHF) informed the farmers that trial plantation of oil palm was made in college campus seven years back and accordingly achieved success. It has recorded average yield of 35 tones oil per hectare.
Explaining the need of oil palm cultivation, corporate (RSIL) head, P Mallesham termed the soil of the state "most" suitable. He was optimistic that the land locked state will achieve success in oil palm cultivation and such cultivation would enhance the farmers' economy to great extent".
Mallesham said that though oil cultivation was done in Andhra Pradesh during 1995-96, it needed more than one decade to convince the farmers and commercial horticulturists on its efficacy. He also informed that plantation activities are in progress in Mizoram, while it has started in many parts of Assam.
The general manager of RSIL, KJ Pravakara Rao assured to set up industry in East Siang district, while adviser AK Purukayastha suggested the farmers to adopt the cultivation to maintain crop diversity.
Among others, District Nodal Officer for Oil palm cultivation Opang Moyong, Ruksin ADC T Pada, EAC Orin Lego besides oil palm beneficiaries, local Panchayat leaders and members of Women against Social Evils attended the inaugural programme.
Land donor disappointed

ROING, Apr 27: Rezina Mihu, who donated 4 acres of land in 1999 for establishment of Awapani Micro Hydel Phase-II at Alinye in Dibang Valley district, under Electro Mechanical Division Tezu, DHPD Itanagar, has expressed disappointment over the failure of the Department to regularize the contingency services of three members of the donor's family.
Mihu claimed that assurance was given to regularize the services of three members of the family by the then Power Minister Dorjee Khandu in 2007.
"It has been revealed through RTI that under Tezu E-M Division, DHPD, 12 W/C Khalasi/Mazdoor have been appointed against 19 W/C Khalasi/Mazdoor retired or dead since 2009-2015 out of which 7 posts of WC are still lying vacant. However, despite several representations made to the competent authority, no action in favour of the deal made during the time of land donation has been taken yet. By doing so, the department is not only violating the 'right to property' safeguarded by the Indian Constitution but also disrespecting the sacrifice made by our family for a cause,", lamented Mihu.
He further said that if the department fails to regularize the services before May 31, 2016, the donor family will be compelled to take action against the department as per the Land Acquisition Act/Rule wherein the department will be forced to compensate the loss of earnings with an interest for a period 16 years over the said 4 acres land.
Mihu has also submitted a final reminder to the Superintending Engineer, Electro Mechanical, DHPD Itanagar, on the matter on Monday last.
Road communication to Hawai restored
HAWAI, Apr 27: Road communication to Hawai, the district headquarters of Anjaw, has been restored on Tuesday.
The road leading to the district headquarters has been thrown open for traffic since it was closed on April 23 due to landslides triggered by heavy rains.
All the block points at Nagai Nullah, Halaipani and Hayuliang were cleared by 116 BRTF.
Deputy Commissioner Mamata Riba while appreciating the efforts of the BRTF in clearing the road appealed to the public to remain calm and maintain patience during the monsoon season and refrain from crossing rivers and hills.
She informed that the District Resource Centre, Khupa has been entrusted with the responsibility of designing people friendly pictorial posters in local dialects on disaster management tips. She further called upon each student of District Resource Centre to adopt a nearby village to spread disaster preparedness awareness. DIPRO
CM reaches out to six year old girl
ITANAGAR, Apr 27: As committed during his first "Janta Darbar" conducted last Saturday Chief Minister Kalikho Pul on Tuesday handed over a cheque of Rs 30 lacs to 6 year old girl Gollo Namper to enable her to get required medical intervention.
The cheque was received by her father Gollo Tango in presence of Commissioner Health Hage Kojeen, Director of Health Service Dr Moji Jini and District Medical Officers (DMO) from various districts of the state.
"I am hopeful that with the expert care that you are seeking for her, she will recover speedily," the CM told the girl's father.
CM asked the father to inform about the girl's condition and progress of the treatment with assurance that the government would support her further.

NHM Employees demand regularisation of jobs
ITANAGAR, Apr 27: The Arunachal Pradesh NHM Employees Association (APNHNMEA) has in a representation to the Chief Minister on Wednesday appealed him to regularize the contractual managerial staffs who have been working under NHM for over 8 years.
While welcoming the GoAP's recent announcement to create 2541 posts under the Department of Health and Family Welfare including few posts of accountant-cum-UDC, LDC and a Computer Operator to assist the medical superintendents, the association further urged the authorities to accommodate the programme managerial staffs under the department as per the announcement.
The programme managerial staffs are also an important component like other technical staffs of NHM, it said adding that the GoAP's prompt action in this regard would boost their morale, the association added.
DSUCC demands AAPSU election within July
ITANAGAR, Apr 27: The District Students' Union Coordination Committee (DSUCC) has decided to boycott all the programmes and policies of the present AAPSU team.
The decision was taken in response to the resolution taken by the current All Arunachal Pradesh Students’ Union to hold the conference cum election of the union in November.
It demanded the AAPSU leadership to immediately declare the Conference cum Election within the month of July 2016 failing which 'DSUCC will declare dissolution of the present AAPSU team as per union constitution until the new body is constituted.' The tenure of the present AAPSU team has expired on January one, 2016, DSUCC said and termed the extension of tenure of the present team as unconstitutional.
Army Recruitment Rally in Tawang

TAWANG, Apr 27: The Recruitment Office Headquarter, Shillong will conduct an open recruitment rally for male candidates of Arunachal Pradesh to join the Indian Army in Tawang from May 4 to 6.
The rally is organised in collaboration with YUVA Arunachal and the district administration.
Minimum education qualification required is Class 8 pass and age limit is 17 to 21 years.
There was an overwhelming response from the local youths in a similar recruitment rally conducted last year and around 100 candidates from Arunachal Pradesh qualified and joined the Indian Army.
MLA Pema Khandu last month met Director General and the Deputy Director General of Recruitment Office Headquarter (Northeast State) at New Delhi to persuade on setting up of a Permanent Recruitment Center in the district.
Awareness campaign on drugs, HIV/AIDS
AALO, Apr 27: A massive awareness camp on drugs and HIV/AIDS was conducted by Drug Control Youth Welfare Association Aalo in coordination with RRTC-II, Kripa Foundation Nagaland and APVDC at Gumin Kiin on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, Town Magistrate Liyi Bagra elaborated on legal aspects of NDPS Act.
Lauding all resource persons coming all the way from different parts of North Eastern states to launch the programme, Bagra exhorted the youth to constantly tie up with the NGOs to eradicate the drug menace.
Coordinator and Recovery Addict Councillor, Bendang Imsong and Tewa Manpoong spoke about drug abuse and its impact on the society through a power point presentation and assured all possible help in future.

Training on energy conservation
ITANAGAR, Apr 27: A one day district level training on energy efficiency and conservation for Papum Pare district was organized on Wednesday by Arunachal Pradesh Energy Development Agency (APEDA). The training sponsored by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) was held at ZPC conference hall, Yupia.
Papum Pare Deputy Commissioner Pooja Jain called upon all the participants to make best use of the training programme and to share the knowledge to spread more awareness on energy efficiency and conservation.
She also urged Panchayat leaders to create awareness regarding misuse of energy in every level and to spread the message of energy efficiency and its conservation among the people for future generations.
National Productivity Center Kolkata, Regional Director AK Sinha and Deputy Director K Mallick were the resource persons on the occasion.
Earlier project officer of APEDA, Papum Pare district Er. Hina Ajan Nabum informed that main objective is to make awareness and disseminate information on energy efficiency and its conservation among the people. Deputy Director APEDA Er. Proposal submitted to CM for tea and cardamom cultivation
ITANAGAR, Apr 27: A proposal for sanctioning of tea garden and cardamom plantation package as an alternative source of livelihood to opium growers and addicts under Wakro Circle was submitted to Chief Minister Kalikho Pul on April 26 by Opium Eradication Movement Committee.
The Chief Minister while responding the proposal assured the committee to look into it and fulfill the commitments of his government for which he has taken up the issue with the Prime Minister.
He also advised the committee to implement the project judiciously to overcome the opium menace.
The Committee appealed for allocation of the minimum fund requirement of Rs 3.52 crores and 82 lakhs as worked out for Tea Garden and Cardamom Plantation proposal by the concern department as a special package during the current financial year to support the affected families of Wakro circle and make opium free society.
Tea gardening and cardamom plantation can be a long term suitable alternative to opium cultivation in Wakro circle considering soil fertility and availability of local Tea Industries and markets for selling the green tea leaves and cardamom products with less expenditure.
IOCL donates ambulance to Taraso PHC
ITANAGAR, Apr 27: An ambulance was donated to Taraso Primary Health Centre (PHC) by Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) recently.
With the contribution of the vehicle by IOCL, a long-pending demand of people of Taraso has been fulfilled, Taraso ZPM Nabam Eka stated in a release.
The ZPM appreciated the noble gesture of the oil giant and Union Minister Kiren Rijiju for his initiative for providing the ambulance.
Install high mast towers
ITANAGAR, Apr 27: Capital District, Itanagar unit of Bharatiya Janata Party President, Tarh Soping has appealed to the CM to sanction funds for immediate installation of high mast towers at various schools of the Capital Complex to prevent unlawful activities.
Soping, in a release on Wednesday said that many untoward incidents and law and order problems will be prevented to a great extent by installing such high mast towers.
RGU official passes away
ITANAGAR, Apr 27: Tage Tana, who served as Section Officer at Rajiv Gandhi University, Doimukh passed away on Apr 20.
The faculties and staff of RGU have expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family of Tana and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
Born on 1 Mar 1974, Tana had served as Section Officer in the University for the last 20 years.
During a condolence meeting held at the university's premises on Thursday last, RGU Employees Association President, Dr. Nani Tamang Jose recalled Tana as a dedicated staff who attended to his duties with sincerity and diligence.
Org seek action against police
ITANAGAR, Apr 27: After Anti Corruption and Crime Control Committee, now Tana Youth Federation (TYF) served seven days ultimatum to Superintendent of Police to take action against Sub Inspector N Jomoh who allegedly misused his official power and assaulted two LLB students in Police station ,Nirjuli on April 9 last failing which union has threatened to call democratic movement and seek legal recourse.
Addressing the reporters at press club on Wednesday, President TYF Tana Roma Tara lamented that despite series of memorandum to concern authority no action has been initiated against the SI who misused his official power and assaulted Tana Rasso and Tana Tado inside the police station.
'We would have accepted if duo were detained and produced before the court as per low but instead the alleged SI used third Degree which is against human rights', slammed Roma.
Roma also alleged that Officer In charge of Nirjuli Police station is not registering case against the police officer.
'He is well known sports person but assaulting the students without any valid reason is not acceptable at all, added President TYF while informing that the both the victims have no any criminal records.

Fast track the probe into chopper deal
The Agusta Westland Chopper scam is starting to haunt Congress party. Ruling BJP
is targeting party President Sonia Gandhi in this case based on the judgment passed
by an Italian court. The court has observed that there is a reasonable belief of
corruption in the helicopters deal. The deal is related to purchase of 12 helicopters
for VVIPs from Italian manufacturer, Finmeccanica during UPA rule. Since yesterday
BJP has been trying to drag Sonia Gandhi’s name in this scam. In her defence, Mrs
Gandhi alleged that BJP is attempting character assassination and challenged union
government to fast track the CBI probe into the scam.
Congress also insisted that none of party leaders have been named in the Court in
Milan. On Wednesday Congress stalled proceeding of Rajya Sabha when newly sworn in
member Subramanium Swamy while raising this issue named Sonia Gandhi. Both Congress
and BJP members’ aggressively stormed into the well of the house. Sensing the tension
marshalls intervened and created barrier between two groups. This aggressive behavior
of Congress member was uncalled for. They have right to defend their leader but not
in this fashion. There is a corruption allegation against her. Congress should infact
support the probe if they think their leader is being framed by the union government.
By resorting to disruption of house they are only sending out confusing signal to
the people of this nation. On their part, government should fasten the CBI probe
into AgustaWestland chopper deal. All the people involved in this scam should not
go scot free. They deserve strongest punishment. But the probe should be done impartially
and without any political interference.

Dear Editor,
Contractual Laboratory Technicians under NHM and other vertical programme would like
state a few lines.
Since 1999, in contrary to other in-service contractual employees under NHM and other
vertical programme, laboratory technicians have never had justice.
We have been visiting office after office with our file pleading the authorities
to create regular posts for us. But our grievances have always been overlooked.
Since 17 years, Governments have changed manifold and we have seen many Chief Ministers
and numerous health ministers. No one had any policy for us, no one paid any heed
to us, but atlast when we were at the verge of losing hope, there came in a ray of
hope in the form of a devoted politician who doesn’t consider politics as profession,
but rather a mission to save Arunachal Pradesh.
In 2014, as a Health Minister, Pul got 2492 post approved for creation under Health
and family welfare which included staff nurses, ANMs, Medical Officers, Laboratory
Technicians etc. But due to political turmoil and other unfortunate circumstances,
he couldn’t continue as a Health Minister due to which our case of post creations
was again trampled.
Recently, we had the privilege to meet him at Janta darbar to place our grievances
before him. We had a very positive response from him and he assured us that our issue
will sorted be out this time.
His response has given us great hope, expectations, positivity and optimism. We feel
that it is today or never.

Tips to CMO on Janta Darbar

We stood in the queue for about 18 hours during CM Pul's Janata Darbar on last Saturday
as we got the appointment after more than a month.
On that day there were more than 330 appointees. There was no system during the
Dharbar. It was like a cinema hall ticket counter.
Here are simple tips to the Chief Minister Office (CMO) authority for better public
convenience.
1. Hold the Janata Dharbar at least once a week.
2. Appointments must be limited to 80-100 people.
3 All appointees must be given token with names & numbers of people.
4 There must blanket ban of VIP entry during Janata Darbar day.
We hope CMO would initiate appropriate steps to ensure better convenience for all.

Illegal migrants and politics
Dear Editor,
Illegal migrants gaining coveted Indian citizenship is voting in blocks across NE
and making their way into deciding political future and redesign of the demographics
of the NE states. This is not just the painful story of Assam or Arunachal Pradesh;
but every single state in the NE is dangerously impacted by illegal immigration.
This could have never taken such proportions unless this was facilitated by so called
national parties ruling in different NE states for decades and legalizing illegal
immigrants under every hidden deals just to increase their voting shares and securing
their political future for looting money and not caring for the indigenous communities.
Political parties will come and go with time; but their acts will perpetually burn
those who have to survive there for generations. Compared to the strategic location
of the NE sharing major international boundaries and richness in natural resource
have been unfortunately undermined by ruling political elites of the nation as well
as regional parties for decades post independence. For decades NE has been impacted
with high corruption, poor economic growth and employment opportunities, lack of
infrastructure, complex insurgent issues with regular conflicts between different
tribal fractions as also between tribal and non-tribal communities. This has been
further complicated by rapid influx of illegal immigrants for decades with covert
support of local political parties for establishing secured vote banks that has been
changing demographic profile of the region significantly. Cutting across intra- and
inter- state disputes on various socio-economic factors as well as violent conflicts
among various indigenous communities of NE that has stood as an obstacle for united
resistance against illegal immigration into the region; it is time that all indigenous
communities and valid citizens of the region unite and democratically punish every
political party that help, secure or promote illegal immigration for their electoral
success.

Shift office to permanent location
Dear Editor,
Through the column of your esteem daily, I would like to lay down few words to highlight
the plight of the people of Geku- Maryang, Upper Siang in connection with the works
related to PWD Maryang Division.
In spite of enough infra-structure the said division is not functioning and the official
remains absent from the station. They have made a make shift camp at a room in PWD
Garage Pasighat, East Sing from where they are executing the official works. The
people of Geku-Maryang are facing lot of trouble and have to travel down to Pasighat
which is situated in another district even for a petty works.
Sometimes, we do not have a fare to board a bus or sumo. If the Division office would
have been fully functional at Maryang, we could reach there on foot easily. Sometime
we have to abandon even an important works as the camp is far away from our village.
I humbly would like to appeal the Executive Engineer, PWD Maryang Division to shift
to Maryang within the month of May'2016 to end all our plight.
